ABOUT SARA BAUMANN
Sara Baumann is A Dallas based Iranian American, self taught artist, founder, and speaker. Before turning to art full time, she worked as an Occupational Therapist, a background that still shapes how she approaches her practice: with an eye toward people, care, and what art can give back to those around her. That instinct, paired with a bold, ornate, and unmistakably colorful visual language, has carried her from healthcare into a full time art career spanning nearly five years.
Sara’s work moves across murals, fine art, Commercial art, book covers, and branded campaigns, always rooted in the same conviction: that art should feel personal even at scale. Her pieces have shown around the globe and found a home with collectors and brands drawn to work that feels distinct and considered.
Career milestones include work with Instagram, Coinbase, Scholastic, Mastercard, Harper Collins, and more, alongside collaborations with nonprofits like The Malala Fund, Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, and The Cova Project. She has also shared the stage at Brilliant Minds in Sweden, SXSW, Consensus, and VeeCon, speaking on the intersection of art, identity, and the female experience.
Her collaborators span industries from tech to publishing to social impact, a reflection of a practice built to move fluidly between mediums rather than stay confined to one.
Ultimately, Baumann is still learning and evolving with every new medium she takes on, grateful for every person who has trusted her with creating unique art.
